Sweet and Savory Mixed Berry Sauce

Add this sauce to your favorite breakfast dish to get the nutrients of superfoods such as raspberries, blackberries and blueberries. Berries are the perfect recovery source after intense workouts because they contain anthocyanins, which enhance blood flow to the muscles that were worked out and reduce inflammation in the body. Plus, simple carbs in berries will help you get back the energy you lost during our workout and mend minor muscle damage.

Mixed Berry Sauce
Add some nutrients and delicious sweets to your next breakfast meal with our Mixed Berry Sauce.
- 2 cups fresh mixed berries (raspberries, blueberries and blackberries)
- 1/2 cup water
- 1.5 tbsp raw honey
Add all sauce ingredients into a saucepan and bring to a boil, start to break up all the berries with a wooden spoon.
Once sauce is at a boil bring down to a simmer for about 8 minutes, until reduced and thickened. Optionally, add more sweetener to taste.
