Wasabi Avocado Cream Sauce
You’d be hard-pressed to find someone who’s not a fan of creamy sauces. Whether you drench your potatoes in it or add a dollop over top your meat, creamy sauce can really ramp up the flavor factor. And this Wasabi Avocado Cream Sauce is definitely one you’ll want to add to your repertoire!
If you’ve enjoyed eating sushi in the past, then you’re likely familiar with the incredibly potent wasabi that typically comes with it. Just a little portion truly goes a long way, as wasabi really packs a big spicy punch. But aside from the flavor boost that wasabi gives its sushi counterpart, it’s also got a few surprising health benefits too. For starters, wasabi may help to promote a healthy digestive system because of its high fiber content. It’s also been known to boost the production of bile, which helps to protect the liver and gallbladder. Wasabi may also help improve respiratory issues because of its ability to combat certain respiratory tract pathogens.

And then there’s the creamy avocado in this sauce recipe. Also referred to as “nature’s butter,” avocado is loaded with fiber, potassium, and monounsaturated fatty acids, the latter of which is associated with good heart health. They’re also a decent source of vitamin B5, vitamin B, folate, vitamin C, vitamin E, and vitamin K. Avocados may also be able to help lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels.
The rice vinegar included in this recipe is also good for you. The acid in this vinegar helps to boost digestive health and helps the body absorb more nutrients from foods eaten. As such, your body will be able to soak in more calcium, potassium, and vitamins from the foods you eat.
